CIRCA: early to mid 1900's
Like so many designs in our soda bottle collection, Chapman was a regional bottler originally of their own sodas and then later became bottlers of one of the big brands. In Chapman's case, they eventually bottled Pepsi & Crush from their bottling plants in Amherst & Truro.
This early design was the generic bottle they had produced for their own flavours - as noted on the glass -"The Crown Tells the Flavour". Reaching into the ice chest, one would be able to know what flavour they were picking by the cap.
